wiikey2 1.3 odyessy GAMECUBE update ?

I downloaded and successfully copied 1.3 Odyssey update .iso to a DVD that booted in my Wii Console. Problem is that the .iso ( 1.3 Odyssey update ) comes up on the Wii as a GAMECUBE disc.to play. Afraid to continue from here due to reading other forums of bricking issues and the need for a GAMECUBE remote controller to undo the update. Please advise!
Hard modded Wiikey2 console.
No homebrew channel,Gecko etc.
