AFter reading through all the threads and trying everything I came to the conclusion that there must be something wrong with the wiikey 1 firmware, hence the disc errors we all get when trying to play a backup of PAL grandslam tennis.

Can the wiikey guys please find out what's wrong and bring out a new firmware update?

Running 4.1E on my wii with 1.9s Europe installed.

I would suggest a bad disc unless this is a PAL-specific problem.

My NTSC backup runs fine on 1.9s (NTSC) and 4.0U.

I haven't seen anyone else report this issue so I don't understand how you came to the conclusion that it's a Wiikey issue.
