I have a wiikey in my pal wii. I was wondering if I got a freeloader would that mean I can play backup Wii games from other regions without risking bricking my Wii?

You should already be able to play out of region games. Just enable region free and enable the update block on the Wiikey or use WiiBrickBlocker to disable the game update on the out of region games.

By using the Config disc.

There is a Wiikey sticked thread located in the Ultimate Sticky thread at the top of the Wii forum. It has all the files you need there.
