Sorry to ask if it's really noobish...
I have a WiiKey Fusion installed in my Wii, it's not a new Black one. Most games work, when I burn the ISOs to DVD-Rs. Can't get NSMBW to work though.
I have 2 ISOs, a clean one, and a patched\scrubbed one.
Tried burning both of these to DVD-Rs - don't work.
Tried loading both of these via the SD card, using WBFS Manager 3.0, neither work.
Can you play NSMBW on a WiiKEy Fusion chipped Wii, and if so, how?
Many thanks.

According to the Wiikey Fusion Webpage: "The modchip is also set up for BCA proteciton that is existant in New Super Mario Bros, and Super Mario Galaxy."
It should work, although it may be an updating problem. What is your current wii console firmware?

Is the game from your wii's home region? 4.2 and later firmwares block playing out of region games, even with a modchip.

Yes, PAL iso for PAL Wii.
Can't even get it to work on SD card, just get errors about the system files being corrupt (they arent), or get told to eject the CD.

it's very specifically a NSMBW problem.
I've tried various games, Resident Evil 4 Wii, Twilight Princess, Mario kart, etc, both as ISOs from DVD-R, and on the SD Card reader, and they all work, rock solid stable.
I have 2 ISOs of NSMBW, 1 untouched, and 1 that has been scrubbed \ patched, etc. Tried both as ISOs - nothing. Both on the SD Card reader - nothing.
So all games work great ISO, all games work great SD card, NSMBW works in neither, no matter what I do, and no matter which ISO I use.
Any ideas, help?

Wow, congrats on getting it working! This exact game is what caused me to switch from DVD-R's to a USB HDD.

1) Download the WiiScrubber 1.40 Package
2) Run the "MakeKeyBin.exe"
3) Open WiiScrubber, and select your ISO
4) Search for the main.dol -> right click -> Extract
5) Download THIS (http://www.mediafire.com/?jmwyeljendd) Package here, and your favourite PPF-Patcher (ex. PPF-O-Matic)
6) Open your PPF-Patcher, choose the main.dol for input and the PPFf-Patch for your region, and klick apply.
This is the patched main.dol that you can use for alt.dol-Loading. If you want to patch the ISO, read further.
7) Back in WiiScrubber, search again for the main.dol, right klick -> Replace and select the patched main.dol
8) Done. Exit WiiScrubber, and enjoy!
