I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows XP - just this morning, when booting up it locks on the blue screen that says "windows is starting up."
any help would be much appreciated to get through this.
i've read some other threads, but they do not seem to be related or over my head.

Maybe if you went to the proper forum section you would get related topics and stuff wouldn't fly over your head. If you haven't figured it out yet this is the Wii forum section.
