hi, first time posting, i hope someone can guide me a bit about jailbreaking an ipod 3.1.1.
i would like to jailbreak my nephew's ipod 2g with firmware 3.1.1.MC Model. After searching the web, i got more confused and not sure where to start anymore.
I have some questions, i hope someone can help me.
1. if i update the firmware from 3.1.1 to 4.0. i can just use safari and to go xxx.jailbreakme.com to get it jailbreak? if this is possible? where can i get 4.0 firmware and direction on how to manually update the firmware?
2. using redsn0w .94 to jailbreak. i have redsn0w .94 for window download. but i need help showing what to do next. do i need to update to firmware to certain number?? any guide??
3. update firmware from 3.1.1 to 3.1.3 and then jailbreak.... any guide.??
I really needed some help with info. he's comeing over for christmas and i would like to have it jailbreak for him before he leaves town.

I got my nephew's Ipod this evening and when i connected to itune. it asked me if i want to update to 4.1. I cancelled it. did not update. still at original 3.1.1.
I ran Tinyumbrella, trying to save the SHSH. This is the log i copied from Tinyumbrella.
