itouch 4gen printer sharing?

I may be asking too much from my Itouch.
But is there a way to connect to my home network from the itouch?
I can connect to the internet but i would like to be able to view shared files or
print to the shared printer on my network.
I dont want to have to pay $100 for an Apple air print modem to plug my printer into.
Oh and both PCs are Windows :( not Apple.
