Hi there,
My niece has a Ipod Touch 4g that was disabled and we did a restore on it and well she had pictures on it that she is upset about loosing. Does anyone know of any way of getting those pictures back?? I only have PCs, no MACs.. and the only software I can find is for Macs.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! TIA
Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
You can use any photo recovery software to recover your lost photos from ipod. But before buying any recovery software its better to check that it can recover you lost photos or not. For this choose only those softwares which are capable of showing the preview of your lost photos in demo version.
Hm, if you do not have access to the photos on your PC (in order to transfer them back), there is no chance of putting them back on the iPod. A hint though, iTunes would regularly back up the iPod Touch camera roll photos during normal iTunes sync.
Did your niece sync her iPod Touch with an iTunes library recently (before the photos got lost? If you restore the iPod Touch from the iTunes library the device was last synced to, this should also restore the photos in the Camera roll of your niece's iPod. These are the photos that were made from the iPod itself.
Shareware version of any photo recovery software can be used to see the preview before recovery. Stellar phoenix would be a good option to see the deleted files contained in the iPod touch, but saving is disabled in the demo version.
Note: Be careful in using your iPod touch, as saving any more files on the same location can overwrite the deleted data and makes it permanent non recoverable.
