2. "corrupted" What error message are you getting
3. Have you tried d/Ling a small or single file with "Save Target As"?

video files either solid avi or split over a few rars
winrar gives a crc error.
solid avi play for a bit and go pixel-ated before playing for a bit again.
I have tried d/Ling a small or single file with "Save Target As
small files around 50mega seem to extract but everything else is being corrupted.

I ran the MS RAM tester no problems listed.

Have you tried going to another computer?

Even if you have to go to an Internet cafe download 1 segment of a file that has been identified as corrupt and do a fc file compare between that segment and one that you downloaded on your PC.

That will definitely isolate it to your PC.

I am not familiar with the MS RAM tester.

Use this one:

http://www.ramprobe.com/

or this one:

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/memtest.html

Do not run it for just one pass. Let it run for an hour or so.

I think I know what your problem is, I encountered it before. Your downloading too many files at one time.

I use internet download manager(IDM), when I first started using it I also was getting corrupted rar files. I fixed the problem by limiting how many files it downloaded at one time to 3 files. Before it was downloading 6 files at one time. Since I limited downloads to 3 files , I havent had a corrupted file (almost 2 years).
