Hi, If this isn't in the best place, please move it.:)

This is what I want to do...

I need to burn pictures (jpeg, jpg) to CD/DVD and add music that will run over and over. (loop?) Switching from one picture to another.

I have DVDStyler but I have read over the net it may not be what I am looking for.

It needs to be very easy to use. (Novice)

What does anyone suggest? Free would be nice. :)

If you are trying to make a dvd that changes jpegs with background music. Something that will work is Womble MPEG Video Wizard 4.0. You add as many jpegs to the timeline as you need. Below it is a audio track, where you can add the music. This gives you total control because you can preview it before you burn to a dvd. Very simple to use. This is mainly a video editor, but will work with jpegs also.

Version 5 just came out, but you can still find version 4 which is just as good at a discount.

Do you have a link for the version 4? All I find are torrents with cracks.

Thank you for replying.

That seems to be a paid for software($60), with a trial?

I never tried the Womble thinggie, but it could be a good application. We do refer to other than free apps, like ConvertxToDVD for example.

It looks like both of those look good. What one do you think would be the easiest to use? Dumb@$$ proof?

I had looked at DVD Slidshow a few days ago. I really liked how it looked. Quick Slideshow looks pretty good too.

Have you used either of these?

I have the program, but never used it. I only had to do a project once, and Windows Movie Maker was more than enough for what I needed.

I have Windows Movie Maker on my other PC. Does it have a music option. I kinda scanned over it but didn't see one. The third suggestion looked pretty good too.

Yes, in WMM you can add pictures, video and audio, text. It is actually a pretty decent basic slide show maker.
