Hi, on Saturday my windows 7 registry was erased when I used a registry cleaner. I would be able to log into my desktop screen but all the icons were blank files, nothing worked if I clicked on it, not even my computer or Control Panel. Luckily though with some help I was able to recover my files to my external hard drive using Knoppix, http://www.shockfamily.net/cedric/knoppix/

Now I can either do a clean install, but I was also able to recover the 5 key folders that I exported as .reg backups before running the registry cleaner. So I'm thinking I might be able to restore it using this method; Option 2 Method 2 http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/423...up-restore.html

But thing is I have 5 for the (5 key folder values).reg files not one. This is where I'm stuck. I'm not sure how to go about this, do I merge them and rename it Registry Backup.reg? Please help. Keep in mind I tried other recovery methods that it had to come to this.
