I was looking for a picture when I opened an image which prompted my firefox browser to 'install missing plug-ins'. I clicked it and it downloaded a virus and opened my facebook page in another window. Now I have downloaded Hijackthis and I have the log saved somewhere. The laptop is from my college so I dont have access to some of the files. I dont know what to do next - or how to fix the virus. please help!!

do a system restore to before you got the virus.
