my computer has not been running as well as it used too (should?) and also if left on say over night when i come back it freezes after i clear the screen saver. idk if i have something bad on my comp or its just run down(that possible?)

Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.3 is still unstable (BETA) and does not read Win7 very well. The latest stable version is v2.0.2

Is this an older computer that you have upgraded to Win7?

How much memory do you have?
2GB of memory is the bare minimum for Windows 7, I would recommend 4GB. Win7 loves a lot of memory, and that?s good, RAM is faster than a HDD...

Sometimes with small amounts of RAM the screen saver will run out and freeze...

well when i did this scan i had 3.5G of ram but i ordered more to replace my bargain ram so i have 4G dual channel. its not really an old computer i built it myself about a year and a half ago and just got my radeon 5850 at xmas. i had XP till xmas as well then i got win7.

Sounds like you may be OK.
Try cleaning up and defrag then turn off that screen saver or use a different one and see what happens.
