Hello,
I am having trouble with updating my .NET Framework on my desktop computer. In order to get the .NET updater on my desktop, I needed to download the file on my laptop and use a jump drive to get it to my desktop. When I tried to click the download button on the Microsoft site while using my desktop, it sent my to the page not found page. Anyway, when I try to update/install, I get this message "Re-establishing connection with the server (attempt 1 of 5)" It will change from 1 of 5 to 2 of 5 and so forth until it fails completely. What is going wrong and what should I do to fix this problem?
