Ok, I really don't how to describe this, as the search term is so generic and there are so many authoring suites out there... Unfortunately 'Google' wasn't any help.

So, here is the thing, imagine over time, you have collected various files, of various extensions, and you have one location with them all in.

Now you want to utilize the DVD space to it's maximum capacity to back up all your files, you are not bothered about organization, just just want them stored.

Is there any software you can say to it... "Start with this level of folder" and it will go.. "Ok, gimmi DVD 1" and 10 mins later "Gimmi DVD 2" (or work with ISO's)

i.e. it scans through all the folders/files, internally totals a handful of files totaling 4.35gb, burns them to disk, remembers they are burned (or moves/delete the files), grabs another 4.35gb of files, rinse, repeat.

At the end, I have a collection of DVD's containing the data and I can delete the initial folder.
