It's not the program as much as how well you know the program you are using.

I have used Nero, G-burner, Roxio, and WinXP to burn. They all do the job. I mostly use Nero 6 or 9. Not the junk versions in between

Never used it so don't know how easy it is but hear good things about Starburn: http://www.rocketdivision.com/download_starburn.html There's also Ashampoo Burning Studio (free version but have to register), version 9 is around too: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/burningstudiofree.html Never had a problem with Nero either.

disc to disc copy - use IMgburn for CD and DVD
If just making a data CD or DVD from various files - use Nero

Both only work with non copy protected content, if you want to remove that from original, you'll need either any copying tool or something running in the background that removes it before Nero or Imgburn works on the file.

For DVD burning from videos, I always use SPAM removed, which you can google it and download a trial from its homepage. There are also many other programs such as Nero, try your selft and find the one works best for you!
Good luck!
