Presently using Windows Live for email but it doesn't show inbox except on opening and have to shut down and restart to get to inbox. Is there another or recommended email program that keeps inbox visible. Have tried Thunderbird but think Windows Live slightly better, Used to use Eudora pro for years till it stopped doing updates. Any recommendations appreceated...thanks run12

i would have prefered outlook express but that is on xp & below. can put a shortcut on your desktop to your email provider so can access all your email anywhere in the world wereas with ms outlook, the email gets dumped onto your computer.

You can try Mozilla Thunderbird email. You just download it and set it up and hopefully everything will work for you.

actually I took your thought and contacted my server help desk and they worked me through some of the concerns I had with Thunderbird and now its working fine so will use it for immediate future...thanks everybody for responses....run12
