Hi I got a bunch of recovered files on my hdd that i want to use again.Majority of the files are rars.THe recovered rars are labeled exactly like FILE258.RAR ,FILE259.RAR.
Are there any methods or way of sorting the files ? The orginals are *.rar , *.r01 ,*..r02 , .001 , .002 ... But when I recover its FILE259.RAR, FILE257.RAR , Does anybody know of a program where i can add the folder into the menu and have it scan and find other rar files in the same volume ?
Does anyone have any tips they could give me for sorting recovered raw files ?
How do i go around sorting this ?
I read on another forum professional recovery services get the metadata
Is it possible to view the metadata , go online to a database and get the original file name ?Any help would be greatly appeaciated
