Hello! I have Outlook Express 2003 and I can't seem to find the 'auto-send to folder' option --> To have all emails from a specific email address to automatically go into a dedicated folder instead of the inbox. I know this feature exists on web-based email such as hotmail and yahoo but I can't seem to find the option in my Outlook Express 2003. Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, Outlook Express doesn't have that function. You need to upgrade to Outlook.

If you're talking about Outlook 2003, you have to set up a rule. look under tools.

It's definitely outlook express but I tried your suggestion for outlook and here is what I've got. It seems like the option is there but it doesn't explain clearly what each option does or what it means.
SO here I've uploaded a picture (afterdawn doesn't seem to have an option to attach a photo to my reply so I had to use imageshack):

^Does that box have what I need?

Use the rule Wizard, it will walk you through it.

Essentially, you specify what you are looking for the in the e-mail and what action to take once you meet the condition.

There doesn't appear to be a Wizard. Can you help me from looking at the picture in my above post? Have I checked the correct checkboxes in sections 1 and 2 (from the photo in my above post)?

Yes, except that you have to click on the hyperlink for "contains people" and specify the sender, then click on the hyperlink for "folder" and specify which folder.

I checked, and Outlook Express doesn't have a rules Wizard. Sorry for the misdirection.

Good stuff. It works. Although I've got another question: Suppose I receive an email that goes to the inbox, is it possible to make it automatically go into a folder after exactly one reading of said email?

If not, does the feature exist in any other email client?
