Hey all. I'm currently using CS4 and I am frustrated by the inability to save settings once they're changed. For example, I'm trying to adjust the contrast of things I put on my scanner.

There are two places where one can adjust brightness/contrast - there is a dialogue box to the right of the screen if you leave the default settings how they are - "Colors, Swatches, Styles, Adjustments" and the other is in the "Import" options-filled box to the right of the scan preview box. I've tried to adjust the contrast from the default of "0" to "50" in both locations, but it almost immediately reverts back to 0. There is no where in either location that offers a "save" option to click on. I don't know how to keep the adjusted settings as the new default.
Before assuming there's something I need to do with my scanner, I just want to be able to get the changes in contrast to stick for once.

Can anyone help me save this setting? And theoretically other settings as well?
