Problems playing DVD's after installing/uninstalling interactual player

Everything as far as playing DVD's worked fine before installing Interactual player which came with my 8 mile DVD. I thought i needed it to play the DVD at the time so I installed it and it worked fine. Afterward i uninstalled the program just to remove programs i dont use and now when i insert a DVD whether burnt or actual DVD it does not autoplay and when i go to my computer and click the letter drive i get a message saying "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action, please install a program, or if one is already instyalled create an association in the defult programs control panel" ive went into the panel and told the cpu to associate all files it can with WMP as well as went in and changed the specific labels CD, DVD, BD....to WMP as well, and still Im getting the same error messege when clicking the letter drive.

Ive tried right clicking the letter drive and using open with... but there is no open with option, im running windows 7 64bit, and when i go into WMP and open the dvd that way it works. So basicly my problem is with auto playing the DVD when inserted. Any help would be much appeciated!
