Problems with KM Player

I have 3D side by side movies in MKV format and I have been using KM player to watch it on Laptop or on my plasma 2D TV with red/cyan glasses. I use HDMI to project the laptop screen on my TV. Problem with KM player is that there is no audio and movie plays in slow motion. Can somebody help me to do proper set up in KM player ? Thanks
