Hi everyone:

I got totally fed up with all of these current web browsers that can't save a full web page (I mean save it to the point it appears when you browse it online). I know that it is possible since all those browsers have that info in memory, they just don't save it due to some reasons known only to the makers of those browsers.

In light of that, I'm curious, is there some third-party software that can save a complete web page, and I mean _COMPLETE_, including Flash plug-ins, scripts, CSS pages, etc., so that it looks like when you browse through that page online?

Thank you in advance.

it isn't always possible.. because embedded flash usually comes from somewhere else.. so you won't get that offline.

just because you are allowed to see it doesn't mean you are allowed to take it..

Microsoft Expressions Web 2 will do most of it for you, but as said before you may not be able to get all the files, only the code that links to them. Just use the import website wizard, you can run the site in preview mode.
Doesn't work on all sites either, and when it does, it can take a long time to download.
You shouldn't do it on any site without getting prior permission to do so, especially if you intend to jig it and then publish elsewhere as your own work.
I've used it to download code to show me how certain things are done when I've got stuck before, and just to prove it works.
Its far more fun to do it all yourself anyway.
