I'm trying to extract files from within a WinRAR archive.
The file format for the files I'm trying to extract is .CBR (Google CDisplay for more info, but to make a long story short it's just a renamed .RAR format-type file that tends to contain image files).
I'm trying to extract some of the files in the archive; not all of them. I extract them to a new folder and the folder is created... but then it shows up as empty. But when I try to do it again, it tells me that the files I'm trying to extract are "already contained within that folder" (you know, the one that was just created as a side effect of the extractiong process). WTF?!??!
If anyone can help me figure out why this is happening, and what can be done so that I can finally bring some of these files outside the WinRAR archive, I'd appreciate it.
in the control panel under folders, try and check the box that says show hidden files.
Once you see the file you want, go into properties of that file and uncheck the hidden box. I encounter something similar before and that's how I fixed it.

Great! That totally worked! Only one more question... is there someway to make it so these files are no longer blurred out -- in other words, is there some way to totallyunhide them?
