I've had this game for quite some time. I have put many hours into it. I had take a break for a month or so. The other day I start it up and there is no text in the main menu screen. I blindly find the load game option. In game, there is no text or sound for dialogue and my inventory looks like this. I know some people were having issues with the no text in the main menu when they first tried to play, but as I said I was playing for a long time with no issues.

Anyone have any idea what could have happened or how I can fix it? If it makes a difference, I have it through Steam.
