Hello all,
I hope I am posting this in the appropriate forum. My question is regarding some old games I have for Windows 95. I used to play these on an old computer I had and would like to play them again. I no longer have a computer with the Windows 95 operating system. Is there any way to get these game discs to work on my current computer which operates with Windows XP? Is there something I can download to get them to work or do I have to go to Goodwill and find a bulky used computer which has Windows 95 on it?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Heidi

Dosbox should work or you could find a copy of Windows 95/98 and install it to an external Drive. shouldn't be to hard to find a Copy on the net given you know where to look. i cant just link it to you (See Note:)

Note: while Microsoft no longer updates, maintains or sells the 9x OS, they still have an active copyright on the above products.

You could also try MS Virtual Machine. Find a copy of Win 95 or Win 97, install the OS to Virtual Machine, then install the game to your VM.

that only works in the off chance the game doesn't require the vast dos libraries that win 9x had
