Quite recently, The Council of Europe issued a warning to the British government to take steps to make sure prisoners can vote elections. The committee made this warning after a former prisoner, John Hirst, won a landmark case in the European court of human rights in which Britain?s blanket ban on prisoners voting was declared illegal. John Hirst is not the only prisoner who wanted the law changed. Peter Chester, a British child-killer whose bid to use human-rights legislation to win the right to vote from his cell was rejected. However, should Britain follow the European court on this.

I just want to know what people think.
