ive gone tru tons of pages and cant find an answer to my prob and pugg seems to be gone. i bought 5 r4 sdhc cards, it says sdhc upgrade on the box, and 5 micro sd flash cards 4.0gb from sandisk. i bought them from depot888 and they came yesterday. after i think i put games on it and put the chip bk into the ds lite it says "please put "loaderxxx"file into sd card" please can anyone help me??

looks like you are missing system files.
goto the website stated on the box, then download the system files, then put it in the root of your micro sd card.

im having almost the same problem but mine used to work now when i wana add more games my computer says plz insert disk E; but hte usb and chip is inserted... styl don no wats goin on

Looks like you have a knackered SD Card,when it will not recognize the
the card reader with chip inserted.

Jen 1234 - You can try formatting with panasonics SD formatter (use google to find, its free) or try a bumb device (phone or Camera) if it does not recover then it is gone forever!

The loader.xxx message is characteristic of one particular clone variant of the R4 card. I've had the same problem myself and have just fixed it. Try this URL for a zip file containing the correct software for your card:

http://www.ndsfirmware.com/firmware/R4_M3team.zip

Or you can try this URL which I believe is the correct manufacturer site for your particular card...

http://www.r4rts.cn/

I had the "loader xxx" problem with my R4 card.

I've extracted these files and loaded them all onto the R4 and now I have a new error:-

Couldn't find /_system_/_sys_data/R4i.sys

I'm trying to use an 8GB micro HCSD card in a Nintendo DS (not a DSi).

Any ideas how to get this thing working????
