Cant get the m3 zero i to work

So i bought an M3 zero i today. I did it before for some one else. I just downloaded and installed firmwares and games and it worked. This was 2 months ago.
I think i forgot what i did to get it to work because i cant get it to work now...
I tried tons of guides, so many downloads. But now whenever i install any wares and put a game on there, i put the sd in the cartridge, put the whole thing in the ds, the ds boots up like usual, then blank white screen forever.
So now i need to know what to do exactly.
what files do i need, if it is a system folder do i put the whole folder on the card or just the innards of it?
where to put games or any other files.

im sorry if this is redundant but its just that im so sick at looking at all these guides now that dont seem to be working for me T-T
