Converting a DVD or downloaded video file to .dpg nintendo ds format

you need moonshell 1.71 from www.ndstt.com unzip and drag and drop to sd micro card, make 3 folders called movies, music, pictures all on the micro sd card.

See below:

TTMENU may look different to mine as I have nero showtime installed this is the TTMENU.DAT file

Download latest version of avisynth and batchDPG, install avisynth you will not need to touch this program batchDPG uses it. search for it on google and watch video how to convert http://uk.youtube.com/watch?feature=related&v=mObig7YirCk, once done drag and drop the files (.dpg) into movie folder, start ds with rom inserted open moonshell off list go to movies file select one and press a to start.

you will need to install batchDPG every time you use it as when you close it, its performs an uninstall as its loaded into the ram to manipulate the dvd files (VTS Vob, Mpeg, AVI, etc)

buttons:

select movies folder press a
select a movie .dpg press a
left shoulder button pause
right shoulder button goes to next file
x volume up max vol 400%
y volume down min vol 0%
(starts on a default of 100%)
A and B do nothing

tap bottom screen or press select while playing tap the x on file information to close that screen under Volume:x400MusicNext:shuffleLoop change, the wavy blue line slide the stylus along to get to the part of the movie you want.

B backs up movie playing to movie folder

A Advance to next option
B backup

right on the D-Pad forward scans, same for up and down

left goes back to start of file you are playing

see photos attached for how to setup card.

Websites for information on this

search you tube for avisynth also moon shell 1.71, and batchDPG

Converted movies dragged and dropped to the movies folder should look like so

anyone need this file with pictures i will email the microsoft word doc
