So I've had my TTDS for a long while, close to a year and a half and had absolutely no problems. I played a ton of different games, and clocked 100s of hours on my games and never had a single problem with the TTDS.
Today, I downloaded a ROM which I kind of knew was suspicious and I didn't expect to work (got a white screen), and so basically I got an error when I turned my DS and when I inserted it into my computer I was told it needed to be formatted.
I did format it as a FAT, and not FAT32 as I read (though I first formatted it as FAT32, then read later it's better to get FAT32 so I formatted it again)
So luckily I have all my game save data on backup, but now I'm trying to actually get working firmware. I don't remember which version was on it initially, I think it was probably V1.10 (which I can't find the firmware for) or 1.11/1.12, but I've tried putting version 1.11 to 1.15 (all on seperate occasions) and none of them would generate a working loaded menu. I tried version 1.07, which the menu actually worked, but it wasn't loading any of my ROMs.
Does anyone know I need to do to fix it exactly? It worked 100% before the formatting, so I assume I just need the right firmware on it, or am I wrong? And do I need the exact firmware that was on it prior for it to work perfectly, or are there ways around it so that I can use the latest version? (Or maybe would I need to get a newer updated TTDS card for the newer versions?)
