SD Card Error Message

Hi Folks,

every time I switch on my Nintendo DS I get this error message "SD/TF card error". Has anyone else come across this message? What does it mean? Is all my stuff on the micro SD card gone?

when you connect your micro sd card to the pc is the stuff there? what console you using? what flashcart you using? what firmware is on it?

Hi Mikoz74,

The error message comes up on the Nintendo console screen. I am using a R4 adapter with the micro SD card in it. Have had no problems with it until now. Very fustrating as I keep getting this message.

backup card to pc first, format it and then drag the backed up files back to micro sd card and try again, i had to do this when i tried band hero.

Hi Mikoz74,

Not sure if I can do that. I might have gone beyone the point of no return. Let me explain. I was in the process of saving the game I was playing with the intention of backing it up to the PC, that was when the error message first appeared.

Now when I try to back it up to the PC i get a small box coming up on the screen telling me "You need to format the disk in drive E: before you can use it", " Do you want to format it?"

Think it's the end of the road and a very corupt file that's giving me all this hassle!

if you used a pc, if it was vista i would try xp and vice versa, try on more than one pc.
