acekard 2i - low cost, easy to use, works well with new games.

If your just using it on a DS lite and not a DSI then Cyclo ds is the best hands down. Its one of the best carts around. But you dont have to have the best one around. Most of them do a pretty good job. And its personal preferance. Acekard 2i and Ez-Flash vi are both good ones to. But they came out for the DSI but also work in DS lites.

Thanks yes it is just for the ds lite, but if I add like an up to date game will I get the same problem I get with thr r4 card as it won't load some new games,ie:mario at winter olympics,if I change to a different card will this still be the case thanks.

No - better flash carts have more updates etc.

For the DS I have used AceKard and M3 Real, my personal favourite is the M3 real as the user interface (Sakura)is one of the best I have seen - very easy to use.

The site in my signature hosts all the firmwares, as for a site - I have only ever used dealextreme and Amazon marketplace(and they have kicked them all off now)
