Folks i installed Azureus on Solaris. It was working perfect.. and i downloaded a lot of stuff...
Then one day, what happened was, I added one torrent to be downloaded.. and It showed the Red Similey with the torrent.... It shows the peers and seeders but it downloads nothing.. literally nothing...
I have googled it alot.. I have changed the port to every possibility .. but hasnt worked for me..
Some people say that we got to open port in firewall as well.. Well in solaris all ports are open.. PLUS i have seen the ipf utilitiy.. but i dont know what it does?
Its very frustrating.. Can any one post the solution? Or atleast plz suggest any other bittorent client on Solaris Sparc
I'm guessing there should be a bittorrent service listed.. is it enabled?
Other possibilities are your isp has decided to block whatever port you are running on.. they could be using sandvine.. mine did some months ago.. give the protocol encryption a go.. or your router (if there is one) has reset.
you might have worked out by now that my solaris know how is sketchy .. creaky "might" know but TBH you need some forums with solaris users.. there aren't any here.
A torrent client on Solaris ?, that's a first on me, i'm afraid..
and as to firewall stuff in Solaris, that's another first on me, never had to do it. Now if you wanted to configure IP multipathing i could help you, but not torrenting or firewalls, sorry..
