I have just purchased a new laptop and it's not the fastest out there but it's good. I also have a really fast download speed 15+ Mbps. Ok here's my question. Why is bittorrent not able to maintain or achieve a good download speed with my new better computer when on my old one it did just great with the same conection. Does it have something to do with windows 7? Also my streaming is notecablay impared. Please Help me someone.

gods sake.. if you are using a completely obsolete application like bittorrent (which is BANNED by 80% of trackers and 90% of seeders) what do you expect?.. get an up to date client which supports encryption.. and find fast torrents with plenty of seeds.. unless you have a few hundred seeds and peers you aren't going to get close to full speed..

I use a program called vuze for my torrent downloads.Might not be the best or latest 1 out there but works fine for me and friends of mine that use it.

Bit torrent supports encryption. It is very close to utorrent and has only recently has stopped up grades. I do not know of ANY tracker that bans bittorrent. Many trackers ban Bitcommet because it can't provide even close to accurate upload and down load stats.
HOW can a seeder ban something? Seeders have no control of who they upload to. That is controlled by the tracker. You are talking nonsense!
I would use utorrent it is the same app (written by the same folks) but that is still supported.

i USE Utorrent. Ajust a few settings fwd the right port(s) and find enough seeders. I have a 5mbps down. and with usually between 75-100 or more seeders i am downloading at about 1mpbs or a little more.
its all about adjusting the settings for your network or your needs.
google on how to adjust settings for your program that you use. theres always more than 1 way so try a few and see what best fits you.
just because you have a FAST computer dont mean jack.
