While my internet is fast and i serf the internet perfectly , when i open bittorent to download something i loose connection to the net despite having very good speed a few seconds before. I have bit torrent 7.1 for a while and it's been 4 days that this problem showed up. Any ideas would be very helpful .

maybe the connection limit (if windows xp and some vistas) has been reached and breached.

ps355528 is on the right track. Some entity is preventing you from downloading. If it is your ISP that is throttling you, that would be Sandvines. There are other free agents that will attack you. Forwarding your port helps keeping your port from blocking easily. The port blockers could block my port even with my port being forwarded. Years back forwarding your port could insure an open port. That has changed at least on my computer. However, I noticed I did not have to do anything to clear the port it would open on its own when the blocker got 'tired'. The problem you face is people are leaving torrents for all sorts of good reasons. The free agents that had been overwhelmed with so many peers to block have less and less to deal with so they can give you more attention. The agents work on a priority system you have down loaded enough that you are on their list now. The reason they weren't attacking you earlier is because they were attacking me. Now I have dropped out so they have time for you.

I would use utorrent not bit torrent. They are made by the same company so you will feel at home. utorrent will be harder to block. Also use private trackers and turn off the DHT network. The robots or spiders creep over the DNT net to find prey.

You can try paid for services. Most of them are too stealthy to be tracked or blocked but you have to pay for that.
