I have two wifi adapters, and two separate internet connections. I'd like to use one for seeding old torrents (to up my ration) and FTP, and the other for general internet use.

Here's my question: How do I tell windows which adapter to use for which program?
If I want to use, say, an FTP program, it just defaults to the internal IPs of whatever internet connection is numbered first.

How can I tell Windows "Hey, use THIS connection or adapter for these programs, and THIS one for these others ones"?

unless your running a server edition of windows, i doubt you can get more than one net connection working on the same pc. just for reference.

Next you probably route each to a different port. But WHY?????

It has no value except that is the way you want to do it. Why do you even care? You have little control over the process in the first place. I figure it would be far smarter to use one every other week. That might tend to confuse the cyber police.

Then why doesn't the use one connection to torrent and one to surf? I know you are not a mind reader. Most clients allow you to specify max ups and max downs. Most connections I have seen are asynchronous and the ups do not interfere much with the downs any way. I had mine set so ups would not take president over downs. I never gave a rats ass about the ups anyway. Just give them enough time and you will keep a great ratio.

People on this board obsess with being able to control the trackers to do their wishes and get bet out of shape when they don't obey. Maybe it will take a month to download something you wanted in a hour. If you want that kind of service you shouldn't be using torrents.
