I can't be specific about your router, I can offer a general guide.

Assuming that you want to port forward for a torrent program - like utorrent.
You would run utorrent and select Options > Preferences > Connections and get a port for incoming connections (assume you randomize and select a port or enter a number e.g. 17037) - in any case make a note of the port.

To get the router to recognize the application (utorrent) and the port it will use (17037), run the Port Forwarding software.

In the Check List pane:

2.Carefully select your router from the list.

4.Choose the port you need to forward (meaning the Application and the Port it will use).

You either check the database to see if your Application program is listed - if not you add it yourself.

Assume it's utorrent and it's not listed, click the 'Add Custom' button and type: utorrent

Add the port: 17037 in Start and End port boxes.

Click 'Add'.

Be patient as the program accesses the router and starts adding your new settings for Utorrent and the port it will use for incoming.

7.Test the port

that link has the look of the typical malware download scam .. sorry but it has every hallmark of a driveby bogy installation.. I wouldn't go anywhere near some screwball program that claims to automatically access your router administration settings (which NEEDS a password) without you knowing what else it is doing.. sorry.. a big no-no on things like that from me.

http://portforward.com/

tp-link are swines.. horrid usb dongles for wireless which never seem to work with either the drivers provided or any others unless luck comes in and one works (packard bell drivers work for some reason.. suppkied with device on a disk don't.. go figure)

One thing I learned with my tussle with tp-link hardware is ... they are usually ralink hardware rebadged.. and screwed about with a bit.

Looked at a few tp-link details.. passwords and ip's are the same for most models out of the box ..

I'd have to say that link does sound a little fishy too but two names I recognize of a few saying it is clean have been correct, to my knowledge, so far and both Major Geeks and Softpedia list the program on their sites too so the awards seem legit. The only other possibilities I know of are to find a tp-link at portforward that's similar to yours and use its instructions. I know that can work because I had to use a similar model to a custom D-Link my ISP was using and that portforward didn't list years ago. Or you may find an online guide somewhere, portforward has guides for the static address it looks like you need too.
