I have an app for my iphone called AirVideo. I downloaded a client on my home pc, download the app on my phone, get the settings right, and BAAM! I have streaming access from all of my hard drive videos to my phone regardless of the network. [even 3g]

I would like to be able to do the same thing with my laptop. Does anyone know of a program that would allow me do this?

I'm running Win 7.

You want to watch on your laptop the videos that are on your home PC connected to the same network?
Try Boxee for PC, works great for me.

You would have to set up your NAS as a server, so she could have access to your files....

Thank you. It's a start, but being a novice, I don't know what NAS is, and I don't have a clue on setting up a server that she can acccss. I do have another desk top computer...could that be a server? and how to I get the detail on setting that up?
