i have 2pc's on a wireless dsl modem 'netgear DG834GSP' Vista ultimate & Windows Onecare security. i recently followed portforwrd step to unblock my ports & that was great but now i created a onecare circle & linked up both pc's so i could backup to the one destination and so on, as soon as i did that my port light changed to Grey, so i changed everything back to the way it was & that didnt help, i have deleted onecare and tried norton, deleted firewall rules & recreated them i have done everything i can imagine even recreated my ports following portforward step, & nothing worked, so i tried searching in other forums and other post, & tried wat they posted & still my port light is grey, i have checked my ports @ http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and they are fine nothing is blocked, so i dont know wat else i can do. Pls if anyone can help its most appreciated, at the moment im thinking of reformatting both pc's but i dont think it will make a difference. Pls iof u can help, Im waiting on your response. Thanks in advance.
You are being attacked. For some reason the attack robot things go after BT hard. Move to another client and see if that helps. You can even transfer your stuff by using the same holder and reload the torrents on at a time. You will be suprised. You will have about a month's grace before you get pounded again.
thanks for replying, I managed to fix the problem but only short term. Ive also tried so many time with different ip's and diferent ports too. The problem started when i created a onecare circle with Windows OneCare security, it automatically blocked my port that bitcomet was on, even though canyouseeme recons that my ports were open onecare wouldnt let it though. I tried unlinking the pc's but that didnt help, so i had to reset my router to default & start again. Im now waiting on a reply for MS to see if there is a solution try reslove the issue, because i tried the onecare circle twice & on both occasions it blocked bitcomet. And i can certainly say i havent been attcked either and that its a conflict with Windows Onecare.
Thanks for the advise :@)
