Copyright infringement is nothing more than civil disobedience to a bad set of laws. Lets renegotiate them.

is the router a WRT54G/GS/GL? if it is, then i suggest flashing it with dd-wrt firmware. it'll give you much better control and performance over the stock firmware.
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure
got a whole lot more to list . . .

Had you tried forwarding a port and/or setting a static ip address for torrent's? Using a port under 10,000 could cause problem's too. If you're able, connecting directly could help too.

Not an authority on router's, actually would have mentioned the one you have from what I've read. I used to use a now discontinued D-Link, seemed good, cheap, easy to set up, good support. Maybe they have something.

Well it seems stupid(me) and almost anything that involves networking turns dumb into dumber its like a game where you need to buy a license to ware cloths otherwise you are to dumb to ware them. 0-o
