Before yesterday, my torrents downloaded at full speed (i.e. 50,,,I have 512k connection). But now suddenly, the speed is varying from 5 (!!) to 30 and hardly touching 50. I noticed that when I check my mail or open anyothe website, the speed suddenly increases....So I tried this a few times, I kept on opening a web site and the speed gradually got to 45 and then touched 50 and as soon I closed my browser, it again went down to 3.sumthin to 10. What is happening here? and what can I do to maintain my speed and at the same time keep it max?

Coincidence, speed's are going to fluctuate greatly. I can see swing's from o kB's to hundred's of kB's on the same torrent. Try a known good torrent: http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ 3.0.1 seem's fine.
