Ok, do you get a green ok in utorrent at option's>speed guide>port check or whatever it's called or BitComet (does it even have one) with the firewall off. Try both TCP and UDP for utorrent (probably suggested that and you already have). Where is that router from, ISP or bought privately? Didn't you say friend's have the same ISP; do they get green light's (port ok) do you know. Only a work around for now but what about turning off your firewall in your router and getting a free software one for now and making utorrent an exception in it? I know I said I never used one but I remembered way back around version 4, I used Zone Alarm Free and was full stealth. Doubt I used torrent's then or that ZA and torrent's even work well together but free software firewall's provide great security. If I didn't have a router, I'd use one myself.

Yes I get Green in both uTorrent and Bitcomet. But It becomes yellow when I turn off the firewall. Then I get 0 speed in uTorrent but full speed in bitcomet.:o I already tried both TCP and UDP. The Router is from ISP. Yes my friends get green like me but also get full speeds. But they do not leave in same town as me, does quality differ from towns?
As for firewall, I have already tried with comodo. But like I said, when i turn off the firewall on my router, the green becomes yellow. I am pretty sure that the router is bad for p2p. Well what do you think?

Haven't got a clue but something is wonky there. Green usually mean's you're good to go and I have no idea why BitComet speed's up with the firewall off. For now, I'd stick to BitComet, turn the firewall off, accept the yellow and use Commodo. Speed's can vary from block to block depending on how close someone is to the nearest node and number of user's on the line ahead of you and how much bandwidth they use. Cable speed's aren't as consistent as DSL and an ISP can block in one area but not another but that doesn't seem to be the case. Could be some firmware your ISP added to the modem/router. If possible, see if you can borrow one first to try. I think I might even contact your ISP and see what they say but don't mention torrent's. Failing that, D-Link make's a decent modem/router (or used to) quite cheaply. Don't know how it is if you game but easy to set up, 604+.

Just for my own curiosity, at one point you were getting decent speed's in utorrent too. Doesn't change anything, just curious, that ended?

Yes it functions like bitcomet, turn off router firewall i get speed and turn on, it deteriorates. But its rather slow @ 30-40 kb/s.

I had already tried that. I think i'll just change the router. Do you know of any router without firewall or the NAT thing?

No, not much on router's. Google should show you plenty Saw this too:"You can bypass the firewall for a specific pc by entering the pc's ip in the Routers DMZ zone." Hub doesn't use a firewall, don't know much about either though.

I think it's a reference to a demilitarized zone during war; you're basically opening all your port's. How about a modem and no router at all if it's for only one computer but be aware some modem's have firewall's as well (not a lot but some).

Not that I know of but everything I see is in French and high school French won't make it. That your ISP will have to tell you (shouldn't be a problem) or someone that know's. Careful of hub's too, some have firewall's disguuised as Home Guard, etc.
