Is there anything out there that will let me convert some 84Hz vids to 60Hz?
I have a projector that works with 1024x768 60Hz and the videos that are 84 tend to lag my presentation while it tries to configure itself, its annoying and doesnt look good.

What is there I can use?

Thanks

You assume too much - that we know what you're referring to.

This is the first time I've ever heard "Hz" in reference to a video file.
Are you talking about frames per second? If not elaborate further.

common parlance among tv engineers Dave.. 25fps/50Hz offset-1l.. interlaced pal uk tv standard

never seen video at 84 tho.. that's bizarre!! could it be a screwed up deinterlaced 50Hz video with a couple of dropped frames? I would stick it through some conversion stuff and get it to 50 or 60 for starters.. then go from there.

I'm well familiar with it's usage when talking about NTSC, or the US
electrical power AC (60Hz), and the equivalent 50Hz in the UK (for example).
I've just never seen it used when talking about particular video files.

Usually, you should investigate the file with MediaInfo to understand the problem a
little better.
