ConvertXtoDVD3-widescreen come out fullscreen

I have ConvertXtoDVD 3 v2.99.9.500
I love this program, but I have the problem (I noticed others have had), where my widescreen avis come out full screen

My tv format is set to automatic.....video standard is set to NTSC....
De-interlacing is set to automatic.....video resize method is set to Letterbox [b]
I tried having the video resize method on automatic. That didn't work either.

My avi is letterbox, but when I convert using ConvertXDVD 3, It always comes out a stretched-looking full screen.

Can anyone tell me how to get my letterbox avis to come out as letterbox?
