i have Powerdirector installed on a windows 7 machine. it has been close to a year since i have used the software, was then running vista. I finally have gotten around to archiving some vhs movies (store bought) and for some reason now i cannot, i am given the notice that the movie is copyright protected and i cannot record it. WTF??? Was not an issue a year ago..

Any work around or suggestion for other software.

I am using my vcr plugged into the wintv 1800 card..
