You've managed to acquire a two copies of the same public domain work--from two different DVD collections, and it turns out in some places copy #1 is better, and in other places copy #2 is better. Is there an editor that could load both copies for comparison, get them synchronized, and then have it so you can copy a better section over a poorer one, saving the result?

I suppose I could run two copies of a single-work editor, and write down the frames at which one copy id better than the other, cut them both up and re-stitch them, but I'm not sure how well that might work.
