I have downloaded passkey and initially it seems to act like anydvd. It does an analysis of the disc and then what is supposed to happen? Anydvd pops up a screen that lets you proceed with ripping. That does not seem to happen with passkey?

You have grasped the correct info so far. I have had it a month and it works pretty well, but some movies would not open with it, And it won't work with some programs. Most ironically it works fine with DVDClone!I don't think you can rip with PassKey yet. This is a beta program and I think the ultimate version will will be AnyDVD's Clone!

Thanks. I actually had to remove it from my computer. It would not allow DVDFab or AnyDVD work and I also had to unistall Shrink and re-install it.

I have not idea why. I run windows XP and a pretty standard set up on the machine. Now everythiing is back to normal

I also have PassKey inactive unless I'm playing with it. And AnyDVD also inactive with Passkey in use.
