Can anyone recommend the program(s) needed to import x264 mkv files into Sony Vegas? I believe I used StaxRip in the past but have not been able to get it working. Maybe the settings are off but I've tried several times and used a couple guides.

What I'm trying to do is make a video compilation with several music videos that are currently x264 and in .mkv format. Whether I demux them and am able to import them into Vegas or have to convert all of them to avi or something doesn't make much difference to me.
