MPF files - from Lorex security cam capture card

The MPF files - from my Lorex security cam capture card don't seem to pay in anything but "MPlayer MPF Front End". But there is no scrolling ahead allowed.

Can someone tell me a program that plays MPF extension files and that does allow scrolling?

My PC based security camera system software that came with the Lorex card is crap. The playback is cumbersom to use. There is an AVI conversion function, but it apparently only allows converting all or none - not a select segment. And it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R. So I'm looking for a program that will let me play the MPF files directly. But I want to scroll and review the video, not sit all day and relive the events enfolding in my front yard all over again.
